Sung-Bum (Uhm Tae-Woong) is a hot-tempered detective who relies on his intuition to crack cases. He rarely comes across a case that he cannot solve. Ho-Ryong relies on evidence rather than instinct. Detective Sung-Bum takes an immediate dislike for Ho-Ryong.

Fatu’s father has returned home to Guinea-Bissau from Portugal to attend her wedding. The young woman teaches at the university and her future husband is a well-known musician. “Hankyu Densha” follows the lives of various people who commute on Hankyu Railway’s Imazu Line – connecting the cities of Nishinomiya and Takarazuka in Hyogo prefecture.
