Henry Adler lives in Ontario by himself, regularly visits his gruff and critical father, and works in a bank; he’s also an actor. He finds new purpose in life when he’s cast as a cop in a realistic TV show. He gets into the part, borrowing the uniform from wardrobe, and walking around the city streets. Soon he’s talking to bank customers as if he’s a cop; this gets him in trouble with his boss, but Henry doesn’t care. He falls for one of the actresses, Charlie, and they practice together. Henry’s quirks and his intensity creep her out, though, and she breaks off all contact. He’s desolate. Things come to a head when one of LA’s finest mistakes Henry for a real cop.
Three petty thieves who the police believe to be major criminals are chased into a basement bar where they take five hostages including all the bar employees. The rest of the movie deals with the cops lurking outside the bar while the trio try to get hold of the situation inside.
An attractive cop is assigned the task of tracing millions of dollars of stolen church funds. The thief, is locked up in prison, and the plan is to break him out, and follow him to the hidden money. When she falls for the convict, things get complicated. The ex-boyfriend cop is jealous and suspicious.
No details about this film (other than the name of the writer/director) were released prior to the sold-out premiere screening at Horror-on-Sea in 2016. No plot synopsis, cast list or trailer was issued. The only image released was the teaser poster. Subsequent to the screening, director Pat Higgins physically destroyed both the master copy and the only back-up live on the stage, effectively destroying that version of the film. Higgins made a new version of the film available to rent through Vimeo On Demand–for only one day– on Halloween 2017.

Torn by the reality that his family could be saved by this dirty money, Roger finds himself staring down the barrel of a moral conundrum.
Flora Lau’s debut feature is a beautifully formed, subtle film that focuses on the lives of two people with very different prospects – a wealthy Hong Kong woman and her mainland Chinese chauffeur – both trying to cope with life’s unexpected dramas. Anna (Carina Lau) struggles to maintain appearances with her status-conscious friends after her husband mysteriously vanishes. Fai’s (Chen Kun) wife is heavily pregnant with their second child, has no health care entitlements in Hong Kong and cannot give birth in their homeland without incurring penalties for breaching the one-child policy. While their daily routines intersect, their fates only momentarily converge and Lau elegantly critiques the social contradictions at play by paralleling their predicaments rather than constructing drama between the two protagonists. The series follows Andy and her four colleagues — Dov Epstein, Gail Peck, Traci Nash and Chris Diaz — as they experience the trials, triumphs and tribulations of police work, as well as its effect on their personal lives.
This animated Japanese film is a dark, adult-oriented thriller. A peace treaty between the Earth and the Black World, a parallel universe of spider-like aliens is coming to an end. Two cops, Taki, a human male, and Maki, a female alien, are assigned to protect a diplomat who will help secure another treaty. A radical group of aliens from the Black World are out to assassinate the diplomat and prevent the treaty; only the bond that forms between the two cops can save the Earth from destruction. Sex is strongly associated with violence in many graphic scenes; although this is intended to play a symbolic role, this theme is used excessively. The story is effective, but the film is definitely not for children or anyone easily offended.
