Lynn Schaffer is willfully irresponsible once too often, gets fired and refuses a plea-bargain with her employer. She’s now convicted and because of this uncooperative attitude gets the maximum sentence, 10 years in a women’s jail wing. Model husband Larry, who wasn’t informed of her dumb schemes is left running her appeal, the household and spoiled daughter who now feels abandoned. Since most inmates are junkies or prostitutes, sergeant Ed Crang and fellow corrupt jailers can run a ‘favors in kind exchange’. For rebels, it gets worse. Georgia’s back goes out so she tricks her granddaughter, Sidney Nicole Taylor (Nikki Dixon) into taking over the choir for her. Sidney turns the college upside down when she hires a fallen, bad boy, R&B singer, Jax Rebel (Mario Mims), to help her with the choir. Dean Wilson finds out about Jax’s sorted past and threatens to fire Georgia if they don’t win the competition. Will, Sidney and Jax be able to save Georgia’s job?

‘The Cyborgs’ is re-telling the recent history of Ukraine – the legendary fight for Donetsk Airport in 2014 during Russian invasion. The freedom fighters from various divisions of Ukrainian army and volunteer battalions took a 242-days stand against the Russian backed militants until the complete destruction of the airport’s terminal.

The setting is the east shore of the Caspian Sea (today’s Turkmenistan) where the Red Army soldier Fyodor Sukhov has been fighting the Civil War in Russian Asia for a number of years. After being hospitalised and then demobbed, he sets off home to join his wife, only to be caught up in a desert fight between a Red Army cavalry unit and Basmachi guerrillas. The cavalry unit commander, Rahimov, “convinces” Sukhov to help, temporarily, with the protection of abandoned women of the Basmachi guerrilla leader Abdullah’s harem. Leaving a young Red Army soldier, Petrukha, to assist Sukhov with the task, Rahimov and his cavalry unit set out to pursue fleeing Abdullah.Sukhov and women from Abdullah’s harem return to a nearby shore town. Soon, looking for a seaway across the border, Abdullah and his gang come to the same town…
