A chronicle of Errol Flynn’s pre-Hollywood sea adventures up the east coast of Australia. His crew includes his best friend Rex, a wild, visceral young man, the Dook, a proper young gent from Cambridge, and Charlie, the aging, depressed previous owner of the boat. Flynn and company encounter beautiful virgins, underground boxing clubs, police raids, bar brawls, man-eating sharks, and cannibals while being forced to smuggle opium to survive. They must also battle the raging sea itself.

They all try to be a happy family until humans used in botched experiments are discovered by the new bride and the police nearly discover the lab while looking for Martin’s wife. Everyone tries to get out of there via the transporter but things just don’t go according to plan …

Miraculous holders from another world appear in Paris. They come from a parallel universe where everything is reversed: the holders of Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculouses, Shadybug and Claw Noir, are the bad guys, and the holder of the Butterfly Miraculous, Hesperia, is a superhero. Ladybug and Cat Noir will have to help Hesperia counter the attacks of their evil doubles and prevent them from seizing the Butterfly’s Miraculous. Wavelength consists of almost no action, and what action does occur is largely elided. If the film could be said to have a conventional plot, this would presumably refer to the three “character” scenes. In the first scene two people enter a room, chat briefly, and listen to “Strawberry Fields Forever” on the radio. Later, a man (played by filmmaker Hollis Frampton) enters inexplicably and dies on the floor. And last, the female owner of the apartment is heard and seen on the phone, speaking, with strange calm, about the dead man in her apartment whom she has never seen before.

This movie serial in 12 chapters was originally planned as a sequel to “Radar Men From The Moon” with Commando Cody as the hero but at the last moment the main characters’ names were changed and all other references to that serial removed from the script.
