A solitary middle-aged bachelor and a naive Irish teenager transform one another’s lives to arrive at a place of recognition, redemption and wisdom in Atom Egoyan’s adaptation of William Trevor’s celebrated 1994 novel. Seventeen and pregnant, Felicia travels to England in search of her lover and is found instead by Joseph Ambrose Hilditch, a helpful catering manager whose kindness masks a serial killer. Hilditch has murdered several young women, but he has no conscious awareness of the crimes; like Felicia, he doesn’t see his true self. Felicia’s Journey is a story of innocence lost and regained: Felicia awakens to the world’s dangers and duplicities; and Hilditch, who grew up lonely and unloved, comes to realize what was taken from him, and what he himself has taken.

Since they were both five, Ryosuke has been stalked by Momoko – the ugliest girl in the village. Her love for Ryosuke is so boundless that she has her face surgically altered to suit his taste – but still he wants nothing to do with her. Ryosuke goes in for fleeting romance – for example, with the girlfriend of a gangster boss. But when he finds out about their affair, he has Ryosuke’s little finger hacked off. Magically, the finger falls into Momoko’s hands, and she uses it to clone Ryosuke, so she can finally have him (or almost him) for herself. And this is just the first five minutes of Lisa Takeba’s short-but-powerful feature debut. Just like in her previous short films, the director – who cut her teeth in the advertising world and as the writer of a video game – throws a lot of genres and techniques into the mix: from science fiction to gangster films, from hospital eroticism to animation. Commander Steve Rogers crash-lands on a planet inhabited solely by women. All of the men were killed in a mining accident some twenty years before. The town where he wakes up is straight out of the old West. Both the sheriff and the mayor of the town take an immediate liking to Steve and each tries to claim him for themselves. The local bar maid is also interested but not quite as pushy as the first two. It looks like our man Steve may be trapped on a planet of beautiful women. But as usual in these things, you need to be careful what you wish for since you might get it…

A man named Jake Weaver stumbles across an old Jailakung board which he played around with not knowing it would open up the gates of hell. A demonic force latches onto him and takes over his mind slowly, making the good part of him rot away. Almost like a possession by a demon. Only this demon called itself Jengo Hooper. Expect some seriously mentally disturbing scenes, car chases, hot women, explosions, decapitated body parts and cannibalism.

Six men, one woman (and her brother) come together with one goal – to make the play. It would be probably another common story that this theater group is composed of anti-heroes who float lost in time and space, in a town where it seems that the sun sets in the east. Led by Sasha, a director who has recently returned to his hometown, this group of socially neadaptiranih amateurs starting the fight to their demons and the prejudices that surround them in the society. Although, as time passes, the show looks increasingly like a mission impossible, almost all of its stakeholders is increasingly seen as a metaphor for their fate and get caught for it as the opportunity of a lifetime .

1999, Serbia is bombed and Kosovo region is left for plunder by bandits under command of Albanian warlord, Smuk.
