Seventy years after her liberation, Kitty Hart-Moxon makes a final return to Auschwitz-Birkenau to walk among the crumbling memorial with students Natalia and Lydia, who, at 16, are the same age now as she was then. As Kitty tells them her story of daily existence, themes begin to emerge: the ever-present threat of death, resilience, friendship, human strength, resisting the Nazis’ constant lethal intent, and living like an animal while still remaining human. Natalia and Lydia ask questions; Kitty provides answers, passing her legacy to the next generation.

Drew’s troublemaking eventually threatens Farnsworth’s job, but with the help of the town and the special Wishing Tree, Farnsworth discovers that anything is possible.

When a North Korean MIG fighter threatens, the group is called back into a gripping dogfight that leaves one comrade dead and another missing. Cheol-hui and Tae-hun join forces to rescue their missing friend and prevent a catastrophic war.

Battleground (2014) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by WWE. It took place on July 20, 2014 at the Tampa Bay Times Forum in Tampa, Florida. It was the second event under the Battleground chronology, with the event having originated in 2013. Nine matches (including, for the first time ever, two pre-shows) took place at the event. There were two main events. The first main event saw Seth Rollins defeat Dean Ambrose by forfeit. Ambrose attacked Rollins during a backstage segment until Triple H demanded security to escort Ambrose out the building. Rollins would make his way to the ring and asked the referee for a victory via forfeit. After receiving the victory, Rollins would be attacked by Ambrose, who managed to evade security, including hiding himself in a car’s boot and attacking Rollins yet again. The second main event saw John Cena defeat Roman Reigns, Kane and Randy Orton in a fatal 4 way to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Payback (2014) took place on June 1, 2014 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. It was the second event under the Payback chronology, with the event having originated in 2013. There were two main events, with the first main event featuring John Cena versus Bray Wyatt in a Last Man Standing Match. The second match faced Evolution (Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista) against The Shield (Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose) in a No Holds Barred six-man tag team elimination match. Other matches included Bad News Barrett defending the IC Title against RVD, the debut of Bo Dallas against Kofi Kingston, Big E vs Rusev, Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs Rybaxel, and Cesaro defending the US Title against Sheamus.

Young man in the prison is obsessed with a singer who is to perform in a new musical its director is currently auditioning for. He escapes and through complex and often very funny series of events ends up being the main star of the musical, only to be discovered by the police the day before the premiere…OK, enough spoilers! The story keeps going on… Lots of great dialogs, awesome music and singing, and ever-twisting story (plus, the parallels between the play’s script and the real story) makes this one of the most enjoyable Czech movies I’ve seen in years (and I’ve seen many)! Definitely check it out if you like comedy, drama, musicals, and theater.

One year after the violent death of Carlos’; (Luis Alandy) girlfriend Beatrice, Anna (Precious Lara Quigaman), Carlos current love starts experiencing supernatural events. Anna performs a ritual to speak to the dead girl’;s spirit, and to pacify Beatrice’;s anger.

In 1985, former oil rig worker Richard Linklater began a film screening society in Austin, Texas, that aimed to show classic art-house and experimental films to a budding community of cinephiles. Eventually incorporating as a nonprofit, the newly branded Austin Film Society raised enough money to fly in their first out-of-town filmmaker: James Benning. Accepting the invitation, Benning met Linklater and the two began to develop a personal and intellectual bond, leading to many future encounters. Starting in the 1960s, Benning had been creating low budget films mostly on his own, while Linklater had just begun to craft his first shorts. The filmmakers have remained close even as their careers have diverged. After the cult success of Slacker, Linklater went on to make films with Hollywood support. Benning, meanwhile, has stayed close to his roots and is mainly an unknown figure in mainstream film culture.

In this magical tale, two children, Nellie and George, are sent to stay at a country house while their parents are moving. While exploring the local forest, George mysteriously disappears into Faery Land. With the help of a friendly hobgoblin named Broom, Nellie eventually finds George playing with faeries. Since he has just eaten some of their food, he is bound by faerie law to remain in Faery Land forever. Nellie agrees to complete three tasks in return for her brother’s freedom.

This Karate Kid sequel series picks up 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament and finds Johnny Lawrence on the hunt for redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo. This reignites his old rivalry with the successful Daniel LaRusso, who has been working to maintain the balance in his life without mentor Mr. Miyagi.

As Zipper’s Clown Palace (a strip bar) closes, Neil wanders in and decides to hold the dancers, bartender, and remaining customers hostage.
