“Eternal Summer” is a road movie full of dreams, love, missteps and lawlessness. When Isak and Em meet one night in Stockholm they’re finally in the right place, suddenly there is nothing else. Together, they leave everything and embarks on a roadtrip through the northern forests of Sweden. But what begins as a crazy adventure soon turns into a dangerous game. Eventually they reach a point when there is no turning back.

The Yazawa family consists of the father Takuro (Koji Yakusho) – who is always busy day trading, charming wife Erumi (Satomi Kobayashi), and teenage son Tetsuya (Eita) – who dreams of becoming an astronaut. The family is also joined by Saburo Akiba (Junichi Sawayashiki), a good-natured teen recently released from a juvenile corrections facility. Then one day Tetsuya falls into a coma from a car accident. A chain of events is set to occur set-off by the father taking a phone call from an unsuspecting girl named Hikari. The story is about the world of a small family with familiar dreams and not so remarkable problems. The mother is trying to lead everything to save her family, but small events disarrange all her plans.

Young Ondra has asthma and so his parents throw away his favourite toy: a musty old stuffed bear named Kooky. That night Ondra dreams that Kooky is determined to find his way back home from the dump. These easygoing souls appear to Marty and enliven his life with non-threatening pranks, but things turn serious when Marty discovers Lilly was Frank’s wife, who killed her in a fit of rage. With the help of the mortal, the ghosts plan revenge.
