This film uses nearly 30 years worth of archived footage and T-Kid’s never before seen home movies, a very rare glimpse into the world of subway graffiti. Because of a train strike, a group of tourists, mostly unrelated to each other, get stuck in New Mal Junction. One of the tourists, the priest manages to arrange a bus from the church for them to reach North Bengal. The other tourists also join him in the bus trip, but unfortunately the bus meets with a terrible accident. It falls off a cliff into an abyss, but the tourists survive with minor injuries. Injured and traumatized, they realize that they have become completely detached from any form of human contact.

This fascinating documentary is based around the Japanese wrestling organisation Gaea’s rural training camp, and traces, in the main, the careers of four hopefuls. In charge are two magnificent specimens, the butch champion Chigusa Nagaya, still venting her hurt at the hands of her army father as she tries to whip her surrogate daughters through the pain and commitment barriers; and her sophisticated and slightly menacing Chairman. It’s a gruelling, physical film, as you would expect, but the makers don’t make heavy weather of it. And it certainly disposes of any idea that the game is faked.
Aging opera singer Joachim Dallayrac retires from the stage and retreats to the countryside to school two young singers, Sophie and Jean. Although the rigorous training takes its toll on both teacher and students, there is plenty of time for relationships to develop between the three. Al Stanco has lived all of his life in Brooklyn and does some work for the local crime lord, Danny Parente. New to the neighbourhood is Gabriela, a filmmaker shooting a documentary on the real Brooklyn. Al and Gabriela become friendly but the relationship is strained when he discovers her true goal is to expose Parente’s criminal activities. When Al sees the evidence Gabriela has uncovered, which implicates Parente in the death of many locals (including Al’s own father), he seeks revenge in a dangerous confrontation with his boss.
