Mario, an exemplary man, lives in a village on the Galician coast. In the old people’s home, where he works as a nurse, everyone appreciates him. When the best known narco in the area, Antonio Padín, recently released from prison, enters the residence, Mario tries to make Antonio feel at home.
Now, Padín´s two sons, Kike and Toño, are in charge of the family business. The failure of an operation will put Kike in jail and cause them to owe a large debt to a Colombian supplier. Toño will turn to the nurse to try to convince his father to assume the debt. But Mario has his own plans.

Gyeong-cheol and Tae-yong, the two leaders of a Gang of KING RIBS, celebrate Jang Boss’s birthday, and and In-seong attacks. Gyeong-cheol and Tae-yong, who barely managed to escape after Jang Boss died, hide in the church of angels and a temple called Hiding Temple, respectively, avoiding the pursuit of In-seong. Gyeong-cheol, who fled to the church of angels, which was ruined by a fraudulent pastor, is revered as a new pastor, and Tae-yong lives with the chief monk and Hwanjang monk, kicking out miscellaneous criminals hiding in a temple named Hidingsa. In-seong takes advantage of the disappearance of Gyeong-cheol and Tae-yong to engage in private loans and human trafficking, and in the meantime, detective Cha Do-pil’s family dies from In-seong. In response, the angry detective Cha Do-pil visits Gyeong-cheol and Tae-yong and proposes a temporary alliance to catch Hwang In-seong. Now, a funny joint operation between the pastor, the monk, and the shaman cop begins.
Morán works as a clerk in a bank in Buenos Aires. He is as good as invisible to his colleagues. Over dinner with his colleague Román, Morán tells him that he stole exactly $650,000, which is exactly double what he would have made until his retirement. He plans to turn himself in, but not before offering Román to split the money if agrees to hide it for the duration of his incarceration.
Wavelength consists of almost no action, and what action does occur is largely elided. If the film could be said to have a conventional plot, this would presumably refer to the three “character” scenes. In the first scene two people enter a room, chat briefly, and listen to “Strawberry Fields Forever” on the radio. Later, a man (played by filmmaker Hollis Frampton) enters inexplicably and dies on the floor. And last, the female owner of the apartment is heard and seen on the phone, speaking, with strange calm, about the dead man in her apartment whom she has never seen before.
The first part of an incomplete trilogy telling the story of the greek people. The film begins in 1919, with Greek immigrants from Odessa arriving near Thessaloniki. Led by the charismatic Spyros, they establish a new settlement in the delta of a river. The youngest of the settlers are Spyros’ son Alexis and an orphan from Odessa, Eleni. A strong, almost incestuous affection develops between the teenagers, resulting in twins who are given to a foster family. Also standing in the way of love is Spyros, determined to take his foster daughter as his wife. The lovers then decide to flee the village, persecuted by their father, leading a life of exile. As Alexis joins a group of musicians planning to go to the United States, Eleni regains custody of the twins. Angelopoulos, as in previous films, looks at the sacrifice of civilians confronted by the workers’ demonstrations of 1935, the rule of Metaxas’ fascist junta and forced emigration to America, and finally the civil war of 1944-1949.
