The final entry in a trilogy of films produced for the U.S. government by John Huston. Some returning combat veterans suffer scars that are more psychological than physical. This film follows patients and staff during their treatment. It deals with what would now be called PTSD, but at the time was categorised as psychoneurosis or shell-shock. Government officials deemed this 1946 film counterproductive to postwar efforts; it was not shown publicly until 1981.

But then one day, Azuma intercepts an emergency beacon from a young girl. The crew of #89 rushes to the scene, the ship disappears from their radar & they soon find themselves let go from CR. But what happened to the ship & the young girl? Was it all Azuma’s imagination? Did the ship disappear? Or did someone hide it? The answers may cost them more than just their jobs.

When the unrest in Poland leads to a military takeover, Nowak is faced with a much more difficult situation than he expected.
In the late 19th century, Paula Alquist is studying music in Italy, but ends up abandoning her classes because she’s fallen in love with the gallant Gregory Anton.
