La Fiesta de Santa Barbara is a 1935 American comedy short film directed by Louis Lewyn. It was nominated for an Academy Award at the 9th Academy Awards in 1936 for Best Short Subject (Color). It features a young, pre-stardom 13-year-old Judy Garland singing “La Cucaracha” with her two sisters (billed as “The Garland Sisters”). In the film, Hollywood stars participate in a Mexican-themed revue and festival in Santa Barbara. Andy Devine, the “World’s Greatest Matador,” engages in a bullfight with a dubious bovine supplied by Buster Keaton, and musical numbers are provided by Joe Morrison and The Garland Sisters. Comedy bits and dance numbers are also featured.

“Mudanza” (Removal) came to be made after the curator Hans Ulrich Obrist was asked for involvement in a project in the Huerta de San Vicente, the home and museum of the García-Lorca family in Granada. The film records the removal of furniture and objects from the building, leaving visitors able to move freely amongst its empty spaces and a silence charged with feeling and resonance and the take from the experience whatever they demand from it – thus making poet Federico García Lorca’s emotive and historic absence even more powerful, evident and heartfelt.

In Spain of the 1960s, a poor family of quinquis – a nomadic ethnic group with a tradition as old as that of the gypsises of Spain but with even more obscure origins – have a nomadic life marked by poverty. The son, Eleuterio Sánchez Rodriguez, nicknamed “El Lute”, steals some chickens and is condemned to six months in jail. El Lute moves to the slum outskirts of Madrid with his common law wife, Chelo, starting an itinerant life as a peddler of pots and pans and living in a quinqui shantytown. He gradually embarks upon as life of petty criminality, eventually participating in the theft of a jewelry store during which a bystander is killed.

Mutant snakes survived a terrorist attack on a government laboratory, and they now threaten the town of Santa Mira Springs, California. The manor, which served as a guest house by the will of Mr. Adem, is referred to as uncanny in the town. Housekeeper Hasan, who lives alone in a big mansion, scares the guests with her strange manners. The greater danger that awaits guests is the visits of a ghoul from his grave to the mansion.
