Our RoboCop Remake is a crowd-sourced film project based on the 1987 Paul Verhoeven classic. Organized through Channel 101 and a bunch of other places, we’re 50 filmmakers (amateur and professional) from Los Angeles and New York who have split the original RoboCop up into individual pieces and have remade the movie ourselves. Not necessarily a shot-for-shot remake, but a scene-for-scene retelling. As big fans of the original RoboCop, and as filmmakers and film fans admittedly rolling our eyes at the Hollywood remake machine, we’ve elected to do this remake thing our own way.
The owner of a bank (Miss Bitterman) wants to own the Muppet Theatre so she can build a nightclub over it. After she tricks Pepe into giving her the only copy of the contract between her father and the Muppets, she changes it so the Muppets have very little time to pay a debt they owe. Meanwhile, the Muppets are trying to put on a Christmas show. After the Muppets are confronted by Bitterman, they make a lot of sacrifices to save up so they can keep the Theatre.
If Bugs Bunny were to direct his signature inquiry–“What’s up, doc?”–toward the modern-day Warner Bros. creative team, he wouldn’t be far off. For 1001 Rabbit Tales, they’ve doctored up a batch of classic cartoons featuring the carrot muncher and his bumbling comrades and bundled them, near seamlessly, into a feature-length film. Here’s the premise: Bugs and Daffy, both book salesmen, are competing to sell the most copies of a kids’ book. Instead of burrowing a beeline to his sales territory (he should have made a left at Albuquerque), Bugs ends up in the castle of Yosemite Sam, here a harem-leading honcho. Sam’s pain-in-the-spurs son, Prince Abalaba, needs somebody to read him stories; Bugs, who’d sooner take the job than suffer the alternative, that involving being boiled in oil, signs on.

Coppola has since said that the project was “adding five three-minute nudie sketches in color to a stupid German movie that had been shot in black-and-white”

The Fantastic Four is an unreleased low-budget feature film completed in 1994. Created to secure copyright to the property, the producers never intended it for release although the director, actors, and other participants were not informed of this fact. Burning with the same blaze as the hard‐boiled classics of yore, Twisted Justice scorches away the sleekness and macho self‐congratulation of the genre.
