Jennifer and Meg Swift are two sisters who are very close despite living far apart. Jennifer is in Salt Lake City, running a successful restaurant she started with her late husband and raising her teenaged son Simon, Meg stayed in their hometown of Hazelwood, helping their parents run the local bakery.

When students all flee an elite university in Vermont for winter break, the locals and faculty hunker down for their favorite time of year – the annual Christmas Bar Trivia Tournament. For Celeste, a Type-A astronomy professor, this event combines the magic of Christmas with her greatest comfort in life: knowing the right answer. But when her colleague drops out of the tournament to do a month-long lecture tour in Asia, Celeste’s team must adopt Max, the football team’s new offensive coordinator. To Celeste, Max seems like nothing more than a grown-up class clown – though he brings an undeniable knowledge of sports trivia (a category their team has always fallen short in). Initial clashes between the two eventually turn into mutual appreciation as the team enjoys scavenger hunts on campus, decorating the international house with Christmas lights, baking Christmas cookies, and advancing toward the championship trivia game.

Fifth and final entry in this softcore spoof series follows Bare Wench 1-3 and the greatest hits release Bare Wench: Uncensored (2003), which was nothing but clips from the first three. This finally made its belated DVD debut in 2015 under the new title The Bare Wench Project 5: The Final Insult.

The title is not just a slang word but a hip new attitude, importantly a fresh perspective on life. YZ is a coming-of-age comedy about a 33-year-old who is trapped between the identity of a boy and a man.

The story revolves around a bunch of college students living in a boy’s hostel. The story unfolds over a period of four days in the hostel. Problems begin when a young woman enters the hostel.

Aging local standup comic Sweeney, “The Character King”, gets an opportunity to do a national cable show out of Los Angeles. The only caveat is that Sweeney must drop the locally referenced material from his act, the biggest pieces being the portrayal of his colorful Boston “characters,” that have become a staple of his home field success. Sweeney makes the hard decision to stop doing the characters. But, to his dismay, the characters “come-to-life” and seek their revenge; they try to kill Sweeney.
