Bastien Grimaldy, a man driven to heightened anxiety as the plot against him begins to take effect. Bastien’s personal relationships give him enough cause for anxiety — between his new lover Laura and a feisty mother, life provides its own insecurities. Shubei town, southeast China, the present day. Five years after he fled with RMB 800,000 from a bank robbery, Liu Chuan returns incognito to the town. Wang is knocked unconscious and Liu steals his uniform. After rescuing Qin, Liu finds himself roped into saving other townspeople and becomes a hero in the locals’ eyes. Meanwhile, Wang recovers and sets out to hunt down Liu.
Ten years after he was last seen, a vicious mob enforcer returns home to find his son and methodically track down the gang that double-crossed him. His quest for revenge soon leads to a savage showdown between his wife and her mob boss father.
