In the midst of the carnival atmosphere and dog-eat-dog competition, there’s more than ample time for the luscious and promiscuous hopefuls to discover where their true talents lie. As well as showing her relationships with the man she loves and the men who employ her, it satirizes corruption and the influence of money in Japanese politics.

The film is a sequel to Tanu Weds Manu (2011), in which stars Kangana Ranaut (Tanu) and R. Madhavan (Manu) reprise their roles from the original. Tanu and Manu’s marriage collapses. What happens when Manu meets Tanu’s lookalike Kusum – and when Tanu returns? Kangana Ranaut also portrays the additional role of a Haryanvi athlete Kusum in the film.
