A dangerous man awakes in the care of a mysterious woman. Once the pieces of his past fall into place, he’s faced withe the stark choice of accepting his new found love or becoming the man he once was.

Rancher Tim Clark borrows money from Bob Russell, who then rustles Clark’s cattle so he will be unable to repay the money. Thus Russell is able to cheat Clark out of his ranch. Clark becomes a prospector for silver and ultimately comes to settle accounts with Russell and crooked deputy Bendix.

The movie depicts a fictionalized account of “The Bascom Affair” of 1861 and “The battle of Apache pass” of 1862. U.S. Cavalry officer Maj. Jim Colton(John Lund) is a sympathetic leader who has a working relationship with Apache leader Cochise(Jeff Chandler). Maj. Colton is undermined by corrupt and politically ambitious Indian agent Neil Baylor(Bruce Cowling) who sets up a false attack, and the abduction of a local farmer’s son. While Colton is away investigating the matter, Baylor convinces Lt. George Bascom(John Hudson) that Cochise’s band is to blame, and incites him to lead an expedition against the Apache band to return the boy. The expedition ends in disaster, with hostages executed on both sides. The Apaches and Cavalry later meet in a battle at Apache pass, the first time that the Indians meet modern (for the age) artillery

A wagon train heads west from Independence, Mo., along the Oregon Trail, led by proud cowboy Clint Belmet. On board are feisty young widow Nancy Wellington and her toddler, Sonny, as well as the older Abby Masters, who begins a romance with scout Jim Burch. Along the way, the wagon train battles Indians led by Kenneth Murdock, a trapper who doesn’t welcome competition for Oregon’s lucrative fur trade. Wagon Wheels is a 1934 remake of 1931’s Fighting Caravans, using stock footage from the original.

It is 1879 in the Dakota Territories, a band of men who set out to find and recover a family of settlers that has mysteriously vanished from their home. Expecting the offenders to be a band of fierce natives, but they soon discover that the real enemy stalks them from below.
