Second movie sequel of Wake Up, Girls!, directly follows The Shadow of Youth.

Aspiring poker player Allen sits center of a high stakes poker game as armed thieves take everyone’s cash. Once alone, Allen reveals his involvement as an inside man to the robbery. He was led to believe this would be his only involvement. However, the success of this heist leaves his partner Jaqs hungry for larger action. Allen struggles to balance caring for his ailing father, managing his feelings for Jaqs, and following his passion for poker. His life spirals out of control as a web of lies and mistakes from his past begin to have severe consequences.

Separation concerns the inner life of a woman during a period of breakdown – marital, and possibly mental. Her past and (possible?) future are revealed through a fragmented but brilliantly achieved and often humorous narrative, in which dreams and desires are as real as the ‘swinging’ London (complete with Procul Harum music and Mark Boyle light show) of the film’s setting.

Sushant Dubey checks in at a beach resort of Mauritius late night with his lovely wife Aparna and three-year-old daughter, Titli, who has high fever. As Aparna wakes up the next morning, she is horrified to find Titli missing. The distressed couple goes from pillar to post in a vastly spread resort to search for her, but Titli seems to have disappeared. The police is informed and the most reputed police officer Ramkhilawan Buddu of the Mauritian police force enters the scene. This musical is based on four short stories by Damon Runyon. In one tale, gambler Feet Samuels sells his body to science just as he realizes that Hortense loves him and that he would rather live than die. In another story, Harriet’s parrot is killed, and she has problems dealing with her loss. Then, there is a gambler, “Regret”, who has bloodhounds on his trail when he becomes a murder suspect. Finally, “The Brain” is bleeding profusely, and his friends search for a way to save his life through a blood transfusion.

Neddy Merrill has been away for most of the summer. He reappears at a friend’s pool. As they talk, someone notices that there are pools spanning the entire valley. He decided to jog from pool to pool to swim the whole valley. As he stops in each pool his interactions tell his life story.
