Monster High: Ghouls Rule unearths an old conflict between “Normies” and monsters – and things are about to get scary! For years, students at Monster High were warned that Halloween was a night to stay inside and avoid conflict at all costs. But Frankie and her friends discover that ghouls and “Normies” once loved to spend the holiday together! The ghouls decide to turn back the clock and use the night to celebrate their individuality and show that it’s okay to “Be Yourself. Be Unique. Be a Monster!”

During a commemoration for Japanese soldiers fighting in the US Army during World War II, Mr. Miyagi meets the widow of his commanding officer. He gets to know her granddaughter Julie, an angry teenager who is still feeling the pain of losing both her parents in an accident and is having problems with her grandmother and her fellow pupils. Thomas is working at the Clay Pits when a storm closes in and the rain makes the clay cliffs unstable. When their parents meet shortly after, Binti quickly sees the perfect solution to all her problems. If she can match her dad with Elias’ mom, they can get married and stay in Belgium.
