Some time after the Mousekewitz’s have settled in America, they find that they are still having problems with the threat of cats. That makes them eager to try another home out in the west, where they are promised that mice and cats live in peace. Unfortunately, the one making this claim is an oily con artist named Cat R. Waul who is intent on his own sinister plan.

Don Andrea rescues an Indian maiden, Lonetta, tames some longhorns, competes with Sam for Phoebe’s affections, eludes a Comanche war party and the cavalry (who have come to Moccasin Flats to celebrate Texas’ statehood) and ultimately saves the town and gets his girl.

This movie delivers all of the great characters you would expect in a film about Tombstone. The Earp Brothers, The Clanton Brothers, Doc Holliday, Johnny Ringo etc. and great gunfights. What the film delivers, is a multitude of pieces of the puzzle that complete the story, not just about why the gunfight happened but the real history about what led up to it
