Gaetano and Delia, a separated couple, try to pick up the pieces of their broken love, recalling all the faults and the mistakes which led them to where they are now.

Adapted from a short story in Pu Songling’s supernatural classic Liaozhai Zhiyi The Fox Lover is about white fox spirit Xiaochui (Gillian Chung), who is irrevocably in love with the naive mortal Wang Yuanfeng (Chilam Cheung). In the universe resides the largest sea demon that strikes terror amongst the people. Inside Wang’s soul, there is a hidden power able to destroy the fiercest demons. When Xiaochui’s loyalties are tested in the clash between humans and demons, she is willing to sacrifice her life for love.

Although “It’s not a date” but more of a casual meet at a local club; it begins as a classic girl meets boy saga with casual conversation that escalates to a night of passion. It evolves, NOT into a romantic partnership or a parting nod, to “bad chemistry” but instead with Carly. Frustrated with a life full of bad dates and believing that Milo is the worse of them she takes Milo on a detour into insanity so extreme he wishes “It’s not a date.”

The messy family of a successful, super-together single tech entrepreneur descends on her gleaming new dream home for the holidays. Christmas traditions collide and family drama ensues as she struggles to keep her house together in time for a glossy video shoot of “the perfect Christmas.”
