Cosmoball is a mesmerizing intergalactic game of future played between humans and aliens at the giant extraterrestrial ship hovering in the sky over Earth. Petey Wheatstraw (Rudy Ray Moore) is a candidate to become the devil’s son-in-law. The storyline is a scaffolding on which Rudy Ray Moore’s standup humor can be unfolded. Beginning life as the afterbirth to a watermelon, the young Wheatstraw becomes a martial artist, but is unable to best the evil comedy team of Leroy and Skillet, who also indulge in wholesale murder. Satan restores the comedians’ victims to life, and charges Petey with the task of marrying his clock-stoppingly ugly daughter to giving him a grandchild. When Petey attempts to default on the deal, he is pursued by the devil’s henchmen.

Opposing his commanding officer’s decision to attack a group of innocent Indians and wipe them out, Lt. Frank Hewitt leaves his post and heads home to Texas. He knows that the attack will send all of the tribes on the warpath and he wants to forewarn everyone. He gets a chilly reception back home however. With most of the men away having enlisted in the Confederate army Frank, a Union officer, is seen by the local women as a traitor. He convinces them of the danger that lies ahead and trains them to repel the attack that will eventually come.

The story centers around Nathaniel Nucci, who leaves the military when his wife becomes pregnant hoping to lead a “normal” life. All is well for 13 years until his wife and child are part of collateral damage on a botched Mafia hit. Blinded by rage, Nathaniel infiltrates the Mafia organization responsible for the murder of his family. He ultimately becomes a contract killer for the head of one of Philadelphia’s largest Mafia families, while keeping his identity hidden.

Two warring lords are fighting over water and bloodshed. When the wife of one of them decides to send her son away from the land to a safe space, he returns to the same battlefield, much to her exasperation.
