In 19th century England, a noted brain surgeon rescues a former student from being hanged on a false conviction for murder, and spirits him away to an ancient, repurposed abbey far in the countryside. There, he connives his pupil into assisting him in mapping the functions of the various parts of the human brain, using living subjects who are under a terrible animation-suspending drug called “black sleep”. Subsequently, the student, along with the daughter of one of the subjects, discover that most of these subjects have survived but are being kept in a dungeon-like cellar, in various stages of derangement…

A band of satanist hippies roll into a town and begin terrorizing the local folk. After raping a local girl, her grandpa goes after them, only to be beaten and forced to take LSD. His grandson then plots revenge on the satanists by feeding them meat pies infected with blood from a rabid dog. They turn into crazed lunatics and begin killing and/or infecting everything in their path.

This found footage horror film is the aftermath of a paranormal investigation gone wrong. The concept of their new reality TV series “The Ghost Kids”, was to get together a group of teenagers who were more sensitive to paranormal, and then have them investigate the most haunted locations in the country. For the pilot episode they go to Clay County West Virginia, where legend tells that local man Sam Mitchell abducted and killed a suspected 30 children in his house, before being found out and lynched by the townspeople. Gathered around a campfire, “The Ghost Kids” hear the story of Sam Mitchell from their producers for the first time, and are then locked into the house overnight. With paranormal equipment and cameras running, “The Ghost Kids” are ready to find out if the spirit of Sam Mitchell still resides there.

They Returned is a beautifully touching and unnerving story about the unexplained disappearance of three children, two boys and one girl, and their reappearance three days later in a semi-autistic state. Not even the children themselves are able to help anyone understand what happened.

There is a belief in Thailand which requires relatives to put coins inside the mouth of the deceased so that they can move on to the afterlife. However, there is a group of reckless and irresponsible teenagers who keep stealing the gold coins from the deceased. Consumed by their own greed, the teenagers then set out to steal from a millionaire’s corpse who had a mouthful of gold coins and their action somehow angers the dead man. Later, the group of teenagers then encounter various horrifying situations as the spirits of the man returns to haunt them.

After a comet releases a mysterious virus that begins to kill all of the women in the world, a young couple’s relationship is severely tested. They hide out (from both the illness and the savages who hunt the remaining women) in their over-sterilized apartment. Ultimately the duo escapes their self-imposed quarantine to head to the wilderness.
