Freshly gotten out of prison, Bâtfoi wants to take his normal life back, by taking it step by step. He starts repairing engines through the village to earn a living in the most honest way and gets on by asking for forgiveness to his deceased father by taking care of his tomb and even plans to marry Alina, his girlfriend. This is where things start to get complicated.

In the village Rachitele the legend says if you kiss a girl on the Wool Day she will be your wife. Three shepherds are willing to do anything possible in order to kiss somebody.

In Răchiţele commune, it is said that whoever kisses you on Wool’s Day, will be your life partner in a long and busy life. The Mad Bride is the story of three shepherd brothers who have long since married and desperately want to kiss a proud Woolen Day.
