Madhav and Jerrin are close friends who are working as RJs at an FM station They are the heroes of the station hosting a morning programmer titled Hello Namaste, where they take up issues relevant to the city. Madhav is married to a baker named Priya. The actual story begins when Madhav, Priya and Abu attend the wedding reception of Jerrin’s ex-girlfriend Anna. There they realize that the groom is a good-for-nothing fellow and they entice Jerrin to elope with Anna. The two couples live together in a small house, and the going seems good initially. They late move into two identical luxury villas in a posh colony and become next door neighbors. The ladies begin to have minor issues and they pass them on to their men. Priya is very conscious of hygiene and her neighbor has a jack fruit tree that makes her porch messy. So, the jack fruit tree becomes the bone of contention between the two families, and the fight on whether it should stay or not continues till the end.

The story of “Chandrettan Evideya” revolves around Chandramohan (Dileep), who is a government servant and also an ardent classical dance follower and his wife Sushama(Anusree) is also a government employee. But the doubting wife keeps track of each and every thing her husband does. Chandramohan is well known among art followers as a good critic of classical dance. His reviews are often published in leading magazines. Considering his close association with beautiful dancers, his wife Sushama keeps close tabs on him by making phone calls every now and then. One fine day, they decide to go for a trip to Thanjavur where they meet an astrologer who tells them certain aspects of Chandramohan’s previous life, which forms the crux of the story.

Ullaas is a cunning guy who can go to any extent for money. One fine day, he cheats a priest and redirects an NRI match which is supposed to go to a known person in his village. He manages everything and finally ties the knot with Laya. The twist in the tale arises when Ullaas comes to know that the NRI girl he married is a complete alcoholic. Rest of the story is as to how Sunil manages to get his problematic wife back on track.

Ramanunni, who was the MLA of revolutionary party CDP, crosses over to the opposition as their candidate for the by-election. He procures a revolver and when one of his arch-enemies is gunned down, Ramanunni becomes the suspect. The protagonist’s attempt to wriggle out of the wrangle forms the rest of the plot.
