A composer starts doubting and questioning his whole life and its meaning. Isolating himself in his house in Brittany where various important persons (his wife, his mistress, his best friend, his parents, his doctor…) will come and visit him.
Erwan, a strapping Breton who clears mines for a living, is shaken when he discovers that his father is not his father. Despite his affection for the man who raised him, he quietly sets out to find his biological father, and succeeds in locating Joseph, an endearing old codger he takes a liking to. Just when things look settled, another unexpected “bomb” hits Erwan in the form of Anna, an elusive nymph.
The murder of a woman in an abandoned house is the first murder this rural French island has had in 100 years. Or is it? A cop who left the island 20 years earlier and a young intern who moved away when she was six years old – but doesn’t remember those first six years of her life – team up to solve the murder and some other mysteries that develop during the course of their investigation.
