A family saga spanning three decades based on the mythology of the most famous race horse Denmark has ever seen. A horse which did the impossible and put Denmark on the world map through its many great victories. The film is first and foremost about the family who owned Tarok and believed in its greatness – and who, against all odds, gave Denmark hope and courage to dream.

Poor Ivan Olsen is plagued by problems bullied at school and constantly pursued by a gang whose greatest pleasure is filling his pants with water. And when Ivan gets home, his dad doesn’t have much sympathy for him either because he is crazy about Tarzan and fails to appreciate Ivan’s finer qualities. But one day Ivan gets the chance to live up all of his dad’s expectations and give the bullies at school a lesson they will never forget. The big question is whether having superpowers makes life any easier?

Life in Solby is nice and peaceful until one day Mitcho and Sebastian find a message in a bottle by the harbour. The bottle is from the missing mayor of Solby with a message that he is on a mysterious island and has made a great discovery. Now they must embark on a perilous journey to help save the mayor and bring him home, and in the process they uncover something that will bring great pleasure to the city of Solby – a giant pear.
