Some people called it a suicide, but for the Rangers of the 2nd Battalion, that’s another word for mission. When an elite group of American soldiers are ordered to take out a series of German machine gun nests, they find themselves blindly venturing into hostile territory. Outnumbered and outgunned they must risk life and limb as they cross treacherous terrain, never knowing where the enemy might be hiding.
It’s a movie about Hungover guys that get lost in a death match game: Each year, drunk people are selected to participate in torturous games the morning after a big night out. There’s no sunglasses, no water, and no headache medicine. “The Hungover Games,” a film that manages to merge the premises of both “The Hunger Games” and “The Hangover” … and throw in references to “Ted,” “Django Unchained,” “The Lord of the Rings,” “Carrie,” “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and whatever else crossed the writers’ fevered brains during the probably very drunken “development process.”
Quirky meteorologist Deb spends most of her time finishing the passionate pursuit of her meteorology Ph.D. The wind of change starts blowing, however, when a handsome news director recruits her to fill in as an on-air weather personality.
Every year, sisters Samantha and Maggie fly home to spend Fourth of July with their parents. But this year Samantha’s new husband Dan has mapped out the perfect road trip. With Maggie’s husband’s Jeep packed to the brim, they head out. But the fun is cut short when their car gets stolen, leaving them stranded in the middle of the desert. With no car, and no cell service, they are forced to seek the help of some small town locals. As the stranded travellers wait for the Sheriff to locate their car, it becomes painfully obvious that the locals have other plans for them. When there’s nowhere to hide, all they can do is Run Like Hell.
After the death of her parents, a young woman assumes primary guardianship of her special needs brother. But as she attempts to balance her new life with her brother and her own blossoming romance, it becomes painfully clear that life will only make room for one.
