When novelist Paula Martin retreats to the seclusion of her family home Crows Hall she hopes to clear her mind and focus on her new book. The arrival of an assistant, Linda, should take the pressure off… but as the bodies pile up, Paula finds herself trapped in a terrifying nightmare of murder and madness.

A novice football player is injured in a bar fight and is out of the next tournament. Jobless and with a pregnant girlfriend, he buys an ice cream van and starts his work. Soon a gang of Polish drug mafia starts irritating him. For protection he joins hands with a British mafia involved in football hooliganism.
