In February 1917, Imperial Russia plunges into revolution. Nine months of unrest before a coup brought about an upheaval that changed the course of history and profoundly altered the future of civilisation.

A semi-fictional correspondence between two women: one goes to Iran in 1979 to topple the Shah; the other experiences the onerous years of Ceaușescu’s Romania. Their biographies run in parallel via images of everyday life and videograms of revolution.

Revolutions celebrates the lives of those whose worlds simply revolve around stepping out of their comfort zone, having no boundaries and redefining what’s possible on two wheels. This film is dedicated to them.
