The Cleansing Session – Tarot is about the experiences of a young woman who tells her tarot fortune to others. Tugba, a young woman, had a fortune teller read tarot readings, and it soon came out. The fortune teller warns Tuğba that what she tells in fortune telling is kept confidential. However, Tuğba tells the information that the fortuneteller wants to be kept confidential at Club House. After this situation, Tugba’s life suddenly becomes chaotic and cursed.

When a group of friends recklessly violate the sacred rule of Tarot readings, they unknowingly unleash an unspeakable evil trapped within the cursed cards. One by one, they come face to face with fate and end up in a race against death.

Four wealthy country club wives come to an empty mansion to bid on the diary of a deceased pool boy who they all had affairs with. Once there, a Goth spirit medium hired to scare them actually opens the door to the other realm and the ghost of the deceased refuses to let anyone leave until he finishes playing all his cards.

Joe Chan (Julian Cheung), an Pay-TV office manager, mourns the death of wife-to-be Winnie Tsang (Loletta Lee), while a spirit causes trouble for a pair of wrongdoers set on taking over the station. A not-so-literate taxi driver Shing Wai-lin (Simon Loui) visits a tarot reader after his girlfriend leaves him. The mystic warns him that he is set to meet a strange woman and he’ll be in certain danger. In a dingy flat, housing nurse Mindy (Fennie Yuen) treats triad member Ton’s (David Wong) latest wounds. Her Aunt Ha (Helen Law Lan), meanwhile, senses a dark force drawn to the flat’s dark hallway.

In California, a group of women struggle with personal problems as their paths intertwine in unexpected ways. Dr. Elaine Keener, the sole caretaker for her aging mother, turns to tarot card reader Christine for spiritual aid. Christine grapples with her own angst due to her lover’s debilitating illness. Meanwhile, a bank manager deals with an unwanted pregnancy, two sisters pursue romantic interests and a housewife gets back into the dating game.

After a Tarot card reader predicts a chance meeting, Shane starts to believe in fate, seeking further advice for both his love life and his business.

They question whether or not to continue recording their album with out Cassidy. After posing the question, Cassidy’s spirit overtakes Dr. Meso’s body. Cassidy addresses the band, and specifically Neal, before revealing four tarot death cards.
