Julien est envoyé par son patron à l’île Maurice, où il fait la connaissance d’Henri, un chômeur professionnel. Un soir de beuverie, les deux hommes se soulagent au pied d’une statue sacrée. Offensés par ce sacrilège, les dieux les punissent en leur ôtant leur reflet et en les faisant léviter. Si cette situation leur paraît au début invivable, les deux hommes finissent cependant par tirer parti de ces désavantages pour régler leurs problèmes personnels.
Documentarian Richard Morris examines both the onstage and offstage lives of veteran cabaret entertainers John Wallowitch and Bertram Ross. Since 1984, Wallowitch and Ross have been a performing duo, entertaining nightclub audiences with such acid-tongued musical parodies as “If You Don’t Love Me, I’ll Kill Myself — Or Maybe I’ll Kill You” and “Don’t Do To Me What Woody Did To Mia.” Wallowitch and Ross have also been lovers for 30 years, who met while while both were active in the New York creative community; Ross spent close to three decades as a dancer with the Martha Graham company and Wallowitch is a Julliard-trained pianist and songwriter with over 1,000 compositions to his credit. Morris exmines Wallowitch and Ross both as artists and members of the gay community without patronizing or exploiting them in the process.

A retired cop becomes a DJ/celebrity at the Blueberry Hill disco– he’s the “Disco Godfather!” All is well until his nephew flips out on a strange new drug that’s sweeping the streets, called “angel dust,” or PCP. Disco Godfather vows “to personally come down on the suckers that’s producing this shit!” He takes to the streets, slaps drug dealers and even exposes a crooked cop that is covering for the dealers. In between, he still finds time to manage the Blueberry Hill and perform. “Put a little slide in yo’ glide,” he pleads to the patrons, “Put some weight on it!” Disco Godfather tracks down the kingpin that is behind all the angel dust production, but not before he is kidnapped and forced to inhale PCP through a gas mask!
Harry Doyle (Lancaster) and Archie Lang (Douglas) are two old-time train robbers, who held up a train in 1956 and have been incarcerated for thirty years. After serving their time, they are released from jail and have to adjust to a new life of freedom. Harry and Archie realize that they still have the pizzazz when, picking up their prison checks at a bank, they foil a robbery attempt. Archie, who spent his prison time pumping himself up, easily picks up a 20-year-old aerobics instructor. Harry, on the other hand, has to waste away his days in a nursing home. They both have festering resentments — Archie for having to endure a humiliating job as a busboy; Harry for having to endure patronizing attitudes toward senior citizens. The two old pals finally go back to what they know best. After successfully robbing an armored car, they decide to rob the same train that they robbed thirty years ago.
Madison Byrne is a beautiful young art expert who tries to help Jack Singer, a wealthy patron of her museum, unlock the mystery of an antique ring. This ring may or may not have belonged to his family before being lost in WWII. As she inches closer to the truth, the danger grows and Madison begins to suspect that Jack may not be as innocent as he appears. Three women are sent by steamboat to an undisclosed jungle prison called “The Home of Lost Souls”. Here they experience the usual beatings, whippings, cat fights and humiliations. The butch warden has a deal on the side with a local pimp who forces them to dance in bikinis at a nightclub and sexually service the patrons. Tired of cages, rape, torture and rats, the girls kill the resident snitch and escape into the jungle.
