Named after the World War II-era program, the plot revolves around a gifted high school student who decides to construct a nuclear bomb for a national science fair. The film’s underlying theme involves the Cold War of the 1980s when government secrecy and mutually assured destruction were key political and military issues.

Nerdy middle schooler Tommy is forced take care of a baby dinosaur after his cloned science fair project hatches early. He quickly begins to think of the creature not only as a pet, but also as a friend. But when the dino escapes on the day of the fair, Tommy must figure out a way to get the creature back before greedy grown-ups get to the dinosaur first.

Excitedly Andy realizes that he and Frank may just be able to solve each other’s troubles by switching places, and his plan goes smoothly until suddenly they’ve got a monster problem on their hands that threatens the entire town.

He gets fired from his job at the nuclear power plant, his car is towed, he discovers his wife is having an affair, then a kind man who saves his life turns out to be an evil scientist. Jim is abducted by the scientist and infected with a deadly mosquito-borne virus that is spreading across the planet. Turns out all those years of exposure to nuclear radiation and rabid mosquito DNA don’t mix very well. Unfortunately for the scientist (RICKY WAYNE) and anyone else whoever wronged Jim, vengeance comes in the form of the half man-half mosquito.

Since they were both five, Ryosuke has been stalked by Momoko – the ugliest girl in the village. Her love for Ryosuke is so boundless that she has her face surgically altered to suit his taste – but still he wants nothing to do with her. Ryosuke goes in for fleeting romance – for example, with the girlfriend of a gangster boss. But when he finds out about their affair, he has Ryosuke’s little finger hacked off. Magically, the finger falls into Momoko’s hands, and she uses it to clone Ryosuke, so she can finally have him (or almost him) for herself. And this is just the first five minutes of Lisa Takeba’s short-but-powerful feature debut. Just like in her previous short films, the director – who cut her teeth in the advertising world and as the writer of a video game – throws a lot of genres and techniques into the mix: from science fiction to gangster films, from hospital eroticism to animation.
