In the 1850s, in a logging town on the Mississippi River, a conflict between the people of a mill town and the lumberjacks who work downriver. Romance and deceit are catalyzed by the arrival of the gambling river boat, River Lady, owned by the beautiful Sequin. Bauvais, a representative of the local lumber syndicate and Sequin’s business partner, is trying to convince H.L. Morrison, the mill owner, to sell his business.

When a rebellious teen embarks on a solo summer journey to connect with her roots, she finds herself in a new world, geared up for the ride of her life, and discovers she had the drive in her all along.

Zach (Gutierrez) is a rich boy forced to find and keep a job after a major blunder in a company he set up. He ends up working for ­Evelyn, whom he discovers to be the boss from hell. In the long run, he sees her for who and what she really is. Meanwhile, Evelyn (Rivera) is an uptight and tough Brand Manager who hires an assistant Brand Manager. When she finds herself dumped by her boyfriend, Evelyn seeks comfort in Zach, her assistant who shows a different side of him. As they get to know each other more and as their encounters become more intimate, they begin to ask themselves if what they feel for each other is for real. The problem is romance between boss and subordinate in a company is not allowed. Things get complicated when an office romance develops between the unlikely pair.

A few years after her mother’s passing, 17-year old Tennie’s reputation at school takes a major hit before the prom. To further complicate the daily rigors of teenage life, her father, Robert, an advertising executive who has since rebuilt his business, tries to do the same with his relationship with his daughter. Against his therapist’s advice, overeager Robert tries really hard to get close to Tennie by showing his own way of caring. He tries to find out about his daughter’s personal life with the help of his newly appointed, 19 year-old driver/intern, Jack. Practically being raised by her extended family, Tennie although very academically inclined and mature for her age, with compassion for others, she’s got a touch of sarcasm, and a hint of rebelliousness. After she catches on to her father’s plan, Tennie realizes that in order to get her father off of her back, she needs to convince him to find a lady friend.

Jas lives together with his father, who is a truck driver and spends lot of time away from home. One day, Jas finds a girl and an old lady hiding in the barn. They call themselves Neia and Alva and have strange clothes and hair. They say they live in the woods but cannot return. Soon, couple of secret service agents show up and start asking a lot of questions. Soon they figure out that they’re poachers looking for healing gem of the elves. Jas, together with his best friend Isaac, decides to help their new friends against the poachers.

Three sailors – Gabey, Chip and Ozzie – let loose on a 24-hour pass in New York and the Big Apple will never be the same! Gabey falls head over heels for “Miss Turnstiles of the Month” (he thinks she’s a high society deb when she’s really a ‘cooch dancer at Coney Island); innocent Chip gets highjacked (literally) by a lady cab driver; and Ozzie becomes the object of interest of a gorgeous anthropologist who thinks he’s the perfect example of a “prehistoric man”. Wonderful music and terrific shots of New York at its best.
