This follow-up to the George Romero/Stephen King-launched anthology series features five new tales of horror and a wraparound. The main stories deal with alternative realities (“Alice”), possessed communication devices (“The Radio”), vampires and serial killers in lust (“Call Girl”), mad inventors (“The Professor’s Wife”), and hauntings from beyond the grave (“Haunted Dog”).
EC Comics-inspired weirdness returns with three tales. In the first, a wooden statue of a Native American comes to life…to exact vengeance on the murderer of his elderly owners. In the second, four teens are stranded on a raft on a lake with a blob that is hungry. And in the third, a hit and run woman is terrorized by the hitchhiker she accidentally killed…or did she really kill him?

A radio show by Count Slashula at ‘Slash FM’, on a Halloween Night, will be presenting and warning viewers about the creepy stories they are about to watch, involving death, blood and some laughs. (inspired by Creepshow and Body Bags)
In the midst of WW I, a doctor and a lawyer team up to turn a ramshackle old mountain chateau into a sanatorium/health spa that caters to the afflicted from most every stratum of European society, most of whom show up with false hope in their hearts and plenty of equally false identities. A decade and a half after their seminal indie film launched meteoric filmmaking careers, Splick and Jason find themselves staring at their own individual, pre-midlife crises. Having not spoken to one another since a late-nineties falling out, they’re each grappling with the challenges of stalled careers and relationships, as the hands of time creep ominously past forty-o’clock. Splick’s most recent TV show, centered around his character’s perverse relationship with dessert foods, is unceremoniously cancelled by the network, forcing a return to his childhood bedroom at his mother’s apartment in New York. Frustrated by a barrage of comments about the “good,” “funny,” movies he used to make with his old partner, Jason, Splick determines to seek him out and attempt a reunion.
Henry Adler lives in Ontario by himself, regularly visits his gruff and critical father, and works in a bank; he’s also an actor. He finds new purpose in life when he’s cast as a cop in a realistic TV show. He gets into the part, borrowing the uniform from wardrobe, and walking around the city streets. Soon he’s talking to bank customers as if he’s a cop; this gets him in trouble with his boss, but Henry doesn’t care. He falls for one of the actresses, Charlie, and they practice together. Henry’s quirks and his intensity creep her out, though, and she breaks off all contact. He’s desolate. Things come to a head when one of LA’s finest mistakes Henry for a real cop.
