When a pint-sized 8-year-old kid witnesses a murder he offers to help the police, if they make him a cop, too. Saddled with this streetwise sidekick, a hardboiled cop is forced to take his new partner seriously as they race the clock to bring the bad guys to justice.

In this family-friendly action reboot of the 1993 film, Karina Foley, an ambitious and spunky 12-year-old, inserts herself in a police investigation of the Badge Bandit, led by the grizzled, veteran detective Mark Simmons. Much to Simmons’ disapproval, Karina partners up with him to stop the Badge Bandit from further wreaking havoc on the city. Dalton finds out he has a half brother out of wedlock who takes over the Hollywood Mob. DEA Agent Prasad recruits Dalton to go undercover into the Lunada Bay surfing gang to find out who’s supplying the drug Galaxy. There’s plenty of action and family drama.

He’s one of the hardest working filmmakers in the genre business…….So what’s HATCHET man Adam Green been up to this past year apart from working on his sit-com ‘Holliston’, writing KILLER PIZZA and prepping EXORCISM ON CROOKED LAKE? The answer is this documentary starting out exploring genre-based monster art and then taking an odd turn into the blurring of fantasy and reality. Because halfway through producing this treatise with cinematographer Will Barratt at his L.A. ArieScope Pictures offices, they are contacted by former policeman William Dekker who claims he can prove that monsters are indeed real. That they live in world just below our own named The Marrow and he knows where one of the entrances to this dark hidden universe is. Green of course is intrigued and so the monster hunting expedition begins… to become something else far more frightening than he ever imagined.

Based on the true life experiences of poet Jimmy Santiago Baca, the film focuses on half-brothers Paco and Cruz, and their bi-racial cousin Miklo. It opens in 1972, as the three are members of an East L.A. gang known as the “Vatos Locos”, and the story focuses on how a violent crime and the influence of narcotics alter their lives. Miklo is incarcerated and sent to San Quentin, where he makes a “home” for himself. Cruz becomes an exceptional artist, but a heroin addiction overcomes him with tragic results. Paco becomes a cop and an enemy to his “carnal”, Miklo.

Scenes from the film were shot in Copenhagen and western Greenland. The film was entered into the 47th Berlin International Film Festival, where director Bille August was nominated for the Golden Bear.

Skilled at killing, but not so skilled at living, Sammy Cohen, a French and London-based assassin, accidentally kills his fiancé, who happens to be the daughter of an Israeli gangster. Forced to flee, he ends up in Copenhagen, where he starts working with a former mercenary and together, they travel all over Europe, doing the dirty work on behalf of a rich industrialist.
