A girl is in love with a gas station attendant and sees him against her father’s wishes. The father is the sheriff and shortly after a confrontation with the boy friend, he is killed by escaped convicts and the daughter is kidnapped. Everyone, including the deputy, is convinced that the boy friend committed the murder and ran away with the girl. This sets up a chase of the convicts by the boy friend and of the boy friend by the police.

The West Jefferson Mall is closed down and set to be demolished. The department store was the site of a grizzly murder/suicide years before and now… it’s the perfect location for a wild Halloween party. Two floors, fifty thousand square feet, loud music, booze, sexy Halloween costumes, and one uninvited guest. It’s one hell of a night and by morning the only survivor, a woman with psychic abilities, is pitted in a cat and mouse game with the killer, running from room to room and using her powers to retrace the final steps of the other guests.

Running Time was filmed in black and white, in real time, and seemingly takes place in one continuous, fluid shot. It’s a little like Hitchcock’s “Rope,” but it’s on location!
