A Snowy Day in Oakland – A magical urban tale about a beautiful psychologist from San Francisco who decides to end a stalled romance with her longtime, high-profile, psychiatrist, boyfriend/business partner. She moves on with her life by opening her own private practice in a vacant, street-front office space in the middle of a small, commercial block located across the bay in Oakland, turning the predominately African-American and psychologically ignored neighborhood on its emotional ear.

The story of a Thai-Chinese couple Yong and Ngak who’s been together for 7 years. Yong is a salesman while his wife Ngak is just nothing but boring and old. There’re many times that Yong thinks of breaking up, but he swore to his grandfather that he will never leave Ngak or else his life will face bad luck. Later, there is a twist in his marriage life as Yong may has to break the word that he promised to his dead grandfather.

The movie’s main storyline follows the life of Otík, a young man, in a tight-knit village community. The sweet-tempered Otík works as an assistant truck driver with Mr. Pávek, his older colleague and practical-minded neighbor. Pávek’s family takes care of Otík, whose parents are dead. However, the two coworkers become at odds over Otík’s inability to perform even the simplest tasks. Pávek demands that Otík be transferred to assist another driver, who happens to be a choleric and suspicious man named Turek (Turk in Czech). Rather than work with Turek, Otík decides to accept an offer of employment in Prague, but finds he does not fit in to the city life. After discovering that the transfer of Otík to Prague was a trick by a crooked politician to get a deal on Otík’s large inherited house, Pávek agrees to give Otík a second chance and retrieves him from the city to resume their work together.

An ex-office worker becomes a ventriloquist, leading to a date with his unemployment counselor; but his quirky family and a gauche female friend may thwart his new career and love life.

In a 3rd year military course at Khao Chon Kai, two groups of military students are trying to dominate each other. There were many conflicts and bullies between them since they were at their high schools. At their practice on the field, they always make troubles causing their mentors to punish their entire company. Other than the conflicts between the two gangs, there seems to be a mystery along their military course here, especially at night time. Not so long, they have found out that one of their current mentor, sarge Danai, was dead. They need to bare on an extra field practice from the sarge.

Her sister Sole (Lola Dueñas) lives nearby and they both miss their mother Irene (Carmen Maura), who died several years ago in a house fire along with their father. After a murder and a family tragedy, Irene’s spirit materializes around her daughters to help comfort them.
