Limbo centers around a secluded colony of child-vampires between the ages of 4 and 120, who were all the victims of shameless adult vampires. They are led by a formidable and deeply religious ex-nurse whose destiny in life is to find these ‘lost souls,’ and raise them in her colony. Through religious teachings and rituals adapted from Catholicism, and the occasional visit to local towns for blood, she prepares the children for what God had in mind for them… creation of a new race of men through ‘natural cloning,’ (which amounts to being bitten by her children). A few years after her mother’s passing, 17-year old Tennie’s reputation at school takes a major hit before the prom. Practically being raised by her extended family, Tennie although very academically inclined and mature for her age, with compassion for others, she’s got a touch of sarcasm, and a hint of rebelliousness. After she catches on to her father’s plan, Tennie realizes that in order to get her father off of her back, she needs to convince him to find a lady friend.

What Jack didn’t realize is that Cool World really does exist, and a “doodle” scientist has just perfected a machine which links Cool World with our world. Intrigued at seeing his creating come to life, Jack is nonetheless wary as he knows that not everything in Cool World is exactly friendly.
