Dr. Alan Stone breaks new ground for treatment of the mentally ill through an experiment on three paranoid schizophrenic patients who believe they are Jesus Christ.

Roberta is a bored suburban housewife who is fascinated with a woman, Susan, she only knows about by reading messages to and from her in the personals section of the newspaper. This fascination reaches a peak when an ad with the headline “Desperately Seeking Susan” proposes a rendezvous. Roberta goes too, and in a series of events involving amnesia and mistaken identity, steps into Susan’s life.

Yamada goes after them and discovers that the men are rebelious Japanese samurai. Now he has to fight his own countrymen.

During a winter storm, Ursus offers shelter to two orphans, Gwynplaine and Déa; some years later, they are still living together. Gwynplaine has become a famous star, but his success threatens his relationships with Déa and Ursus.

The golds of Saddam, the last booties of the Iraqi war, are smuggled into Turkey by hidden in the cotton. Blind workers are used to pick the gold from the cotton but the smugglers try to prevent any possible thefts by telling the workers that it is rock they are picking from the cotton. They don’t know that there’s a seeing eye among the blind workers.
