An ancient Nordic entity chooses a corrupted priest to secure the coveted soul of a woman, and deliver her as a gift to The Old One – thereby securing its redemption. The woman, caught between her Pagan Asatru upbringing and The Church, must find a way to resist the darkness of those she once trusted, as the Vord struggles to guide them toward redemption. But even the spirit guardian may taste the sour of regret where the simple act of forgiveness could otherwise have been so sweet.
